Potential Surgical Complications

As with any surgical procedure there’s always a chance of infection. If laproscopic surgery is used to remove your gall bladder the possibility of complications is reduced.

Other possible complications include trouble breathing during the procedure, bleeding, injury to the duct (this is the small tube that carries bile into your stomach), injury to the intestines or blood vessels. However, these complications are rare.
