Gallstone Symptoms: The Eyes

Below are eye symptoms that may indicate gallstones in the gallbladder or liver.

White film covering the pupil of the eye. This could indicate the onset of cataracts due to a malfunctioning liver.

Yellow skin color under the eyes. This is caused by an over-functioning liver or gallbladder.

Bags under the lower eyelids containing water. These indicate problems with lymph drainage and congestion of excretory organs.

White or yellow mucus in the white of the eye. This problem indicates an accumulation of large amounts of fatty substances because there are a large number of gallstones in the liver and/or gallbladder.

Eyes that have lost their luster or shininess. This occurs when the liver and kidneys are congested and are not filtering the blood properly.  The blood may become filled with toxins and waster products and may become thicker than normal.
